Company Highlights
1. In August 1987, Siu-Hei Lau, the founder of later YIHUA GROUP, set up Lianxia Huaidong Furniture Factory with 800 RMB yuan, carving out the development road for later YIHUA.
2. At the beginning of 1990, a woodwork processing plant was established at Shantou Economic Special Zone, which laid the foundation for further development in timber processing and marked a major step on the way of industrial development.
3. In December 1992, Yihua Decorative Woodwork Co., Ltd was set up. Huaidong Furniture Factory was the initiative shareholder. The name of YIHUA was used.
4. In April 1995, Yihua Decorative Woodwork CO., Ltd, and other eight affiliated businesses jointly founded Chenghai YiHua Enterprise(Group) Co., Ltd who was granted import and export rights.
5. In 1996, Chenghai Yihua Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd was upgraded to Guangdong Yihua Enterprise(Group) Co., Ltd and was YIHUA trademark registered.
6. In December 1996, Fanhai Timber Industry Co.,Ltd, was eestablished and GUANGDONG YIHUA GROUP was the initiative shareholder. Since then YIHUA has entered into a scale development period in timber processing.
7. In 1999, the company set up a fast growing forest base of 7000 hectares in the south of China which keeps a substantial timber resources to the group.
8. In March 2000, Guangdong Yihua Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd was renamed as Yihua Enterprise ( Group) Co., Ltd upon approval by State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
9. In 2000, Yihua Group started stepping into real estate and culture industries while expanding the woodwork derivative chain and introducing Prefab. House production.
10. In 2002, Fanhai Timber Industry Co., Ltd. Under Yihua Group was wholly restructured as a stock company.
11. In December 2002, YIHUA trade mark was rated as Chinese Famous Trademark by State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
12. In January 2003, YIHUA wood products was rewarded as the Product Exempt from Quality Surveillance Inspection by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
13. In August 2004, Guangdong Yihua Timber Industry Co., Ltd under Yihua Group went public by issuing A Stock.
14. In September 2004, YIHUA wood products was rewarded as Chinese Famous-Brand Poduct by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Insepction and Quarantine.
15. In October 2004, Yihua Timber Industry Zone invested by Guangdong Yihua Timber Industry Co., Ltd was officially launched. In December 2004,YIHUA obtained separate in the anti-dumping case on China wooden bedroom furniture lodged by DOC OF USA.
16. In October 2004, YIHUA was rated as one the most valuable brands in China at RMB2.502billions.
17. In January 2005, Yihua Group participated in reorganization of State-owned enterprise by purchasing Shantou Tea Leaf Improt&Export Co., Ltd and another State-owned enterprises in Meizhou Guangdong.
18. In January 2005, YIHUA wood products was granted as Chinese Exprot Famous-Brand Product by Ministry of Commerce, PRC. |
